There’s brunch, and then there’s brunch with a view. On March 1st, 2025, we opened the doors to our newest location—Cafe Brunch Budapest – Rakpart, and let’s just say, it’s hard to imagine a more picturesque setting for your next poached egg or pancake stack.

Right on the Danube promenade, nestled between the Liberty and Elisabeth bridges, our Rakpart café invites you to sit back and soak in views of Gellért Hill, the Statue of Liberty, and even the Royal Palace. Whether you're inside or enjoying the sun on our cozy outdoor terrace, the panorama is pure Budapest magic.

The design was led by the owner of Café Brunch Budapest, who aimed to keep it authentic, approachable, and beautiful—just like the brand itself.

🥂 A Grand Opening to Remember

Opening day was a hit! The sun was shining, the terrace was buzzing, and we welcomed guests with a specially crafted welcome cocktail just for the occasion. Friends, family, and first-time brunchers joined us for a day filled with good food, laughter, and some seriously happy tastebuds.

As always, the prep came down to the wire—our team was working late the night before to get everything ready. But it turned into a beautiful team-building moment and a reminder of how passionate (and resilient!) the Café Brunch crew truly is.

👋 Who’s Brunching at Rakpart?

While around most of our guests are tourists, we’re seeing a growing number of locals—especially from the younger crowd—curious to explore the brunch culture. With a smaller, more intimate space (34 seats inside and 18 outside), Rakpart is perfect for couples, solo coffee dates, and those spontaneous "let's grab brunch!" moments.
