On May 23rd, 2025, we proudly opened the doors of our newest location—Cafe Brunch Budapest – Anker, right in the heart of the city. Nestled between bustling Deák Ferenc tér and vibrant Király Street, our new brunch spot finds its home in the historic Anker Palace—a place with charm, character, and now, a new culinary heartbeat.
This isn't just another restaurant launch for us. It’s a celebration of growth, collaboration, and the brunch culture that Budapest continues to embrace with passion.
A Prime Location, A Peaceful Escape
When it comes to choosing a spot for a new Cafe Brunch, we always look for something special—and Anker köz truly stood out. It’s central, dynamic, and welcoming, filled with a mix of locals and tourists, commuters and wanderers, early risers and lazy brunchers. The age group here is exactly the crowd we love to serve.
But what really elevates this new location is the terrace. Set on a recently pedestrianized street, our spacious outdoor area offers over 50 seats and stunning views of the Budapest Eye. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you can sip your coffee or enjoy a mimosa while watching the city move gently around you.

What makes this Cafe Brunch unique is that it’s our first ever co-operation—a franchise collaboration with Madhouse Bistro, which itself is powered by the innovative team behind Mad Scientist craft beers.
We share not only a building, but also a common vision: quality, consistency, and an unforgettable guest experience. Thanks to this partnership, guests at our Anker location can order from over 20 different craft beers on tap, including Mad Scientist’s famous brews. These aren't available at our other locations, making this brunch spot a craft beer lover’s dream as well.
And that’s not all. You’ll also find exclusive soft drinks created by Mad Scientist—Indian Tonic, Pink Tonic, Ginger Orange Mate Tea, Yuzu, and the fun and fruity Pineapple Suite—all served only at this Cafe Brunch.

Step inside and you’ll recognize our signature style: welcoming, minimalistic, elegant—a visual identity that makes our guests feel both comfortable and inspired. At the Anker location, we’ve added a few funky elements to reflect our Madhouse partnership while still keeping the clean lines and bright tones you’ve come to expect from Cafe Brunch.
Our brand visuals—like the orange sunshines surrounding our “Brunch” logo—are there to remind you: this is where your day gets better.

While the environment is new, the menu remains classically Cafe Brunch. You’ll find all the dishes our guests adore—from the Hungarian Breakfast with the flavorful Hungarian Omelette, to the global brunch staples like Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, and American Pancakes.
And of course, our Goulash Soup continues to win hearts. One guest loved it so much, they asked for our secret recipe!

Artisan Coffee from Budapest Kávé
Coffee lovers—prepare yourselves. Our Anker location proudly serves a special roast from Budapest Kávé, a small artisan roastery located on Csepel Island. The beans are 100% Arabica, farm-selected from Brazil, grown at 1,000 meters, and dry-processed to preserve natural sweetness.
Roasted fresh every week to a medium level, the result is a cup of coffee with soft aromas, subtle acidity, and a beautifully balanced flavor. It’s specialty coffee made with care, just like everything we do.
